We invite you to a workshop under the EU Interreg project Circular Ocean-bound Plastic (COP), where we will jointly develop a roadmap to reduce plastic waste in Aarhus and across the Baltic Sea region. The event is primarily aimed at Aarhus-based stakeholders, but everyone is welcome.
The workshop builds on one year of waste collection, during which more than 80,000 pieces of plastic were registered in the Aarhus River, as well as insights from a previous workshop. The goal is to bring together stakeholders from industry, the municipality, and waste-management experts to ensure the right competencies are represented in the work against ocean-bound plastic.
Participants will gain insight into the project’s latest findings, and Ren By Aarhus and GreenKayak will share experiences and concrete perspectives on collaboration and reduction methods. You will also have the opportunity to contribute directly to the roadmap, which will later be presented to local and regional authorities across the Baltic Sea region.
Lunch is included.
