International Funding for SMEs

Receive DKK 75.000 in funding for new market entries

Take your business to the next level. Internationalization is the key to growth, and Clean is ready to support you through our funding program aimed at developing international partnerships, support for project implementation and ongoing international activities. Submit your application to become part of this exciting journey and expand your company’s international horizons and market potential.

 

This funding is intended to support the following types of activities:

• Development of international partnerships in a specific market.
• Support for the implementation of projects.
• Support for ongoing international activities.

* Please note that the funding is only for salary costs for Danish SMEs.

Requirements for application:

The principal applicant must be a Danish SME (1-249 employees). Knowledge institutions, utilities, associations, etc. are not eligible applicants.

• Must have an identified international partner.
• The available funding grant is DKK 75.000.
• The project/activity must be completed by December 31, 2025.
• The project must be relevant within the environmental technology sector (Clean’s 5 focus areas).

Evaluation criteria:

• Strengthening partnerships with international partners (20%)
• Positive impact on environmental issues (20%)
• Growth potential for the SME in the new market (30%)
• Innovative nature of the project proposal (30%)

Application deadline:

The application deadline is no later than Friday the 10th of August 2025.

Applications will be pre-screened by Clean, and evaluated by Danish Export Association and Innovation Center Denmark and approved on a rolling basis until the application deadline or funding pool is exhausted.
