CO2 Vision NeXt
The CO2 Vision NeXt project supported the vision of the North Jutland Business Lighthouse: that North Jutland would become an international pioneer region for the green industries of the future.
The project was driven by a large consortium led by Green Hub Denmark and Energy Cluster Denmark.
The ambition was to capture, utilise or store CO2 (CCUS). The project’s activities complemented existing initiatives within the North Jutland Business Lighthouse and strengthened the development of CCUS in the region.
The role of the Water and Environment Cluster
Clean’s role in CO2 Vision NeXt was to contribute to the international track of the project by creating access to new European and North American markets for Danish CCUS companies.
The effort built on the collaboration between Clean and Green Hub Denmark following their joint visit to Canada in 2023. In addition, the ambition was to support the establishment of new cross-border partnerships and the development of international CCUS innovation projects.
