Your company has the opportunity to become part of the Danish joint initiative at IFAT Munich 2026 – either as an exhibitor or as a participant in the Clean delegation. IFAT is more than a trade fair: it is a platform for sales, partnerships, market insight, and international visibility.
IFAT – a global B2B meeting place
IFAT is the world’s leading B2B trade fair for environmental technologies, bringing together:
-
International decision-makers and buyers
-
Customers, business partners, agents, and distributors
-
Stakeholders from across the ecosystem within water, waste, energy, and circular solutions
In 2026, the Danish pavilions will once again be organised by the Danish Export Association and will cover:
-
Water / Wastewater
-
Waste & Recycling
Clean focuses on bringing together and showcasing innovative Danish SMEs.
Participate – two options
Your company can take part in IFAT Munich 2026 together with Clean in one of two ways:
1. Exhibitor in the Clean Innovation Corner
As an exhibitor, your company becomes part of the Clean Innovation Corner on the Danish pavilion within Water or Waste & Recycling.
At Clean’s shared stand, you can showcase your solutions in a professional and highly visible setup – without having to manage the practical aspects yourself.
As an exhibitor, you receive:
-
A shared stand with other Clean members
-
Visibility at the stand for a defined period (one full day or half a day)
-
Clean handles, stand setup, coordination, and practical arrangements
-
Financial support covering working hours related to participation
2. Participate at IFAT with Clean (without your own stand)
Your company may also participate as part of the Clean delegation, without having its own stand space.
This option is relevant for companies seeking:
-
International exposure and networking
-
Participation in matchmaking, events, and joint activities
Clean expects to facilitate a range of activities during IFAT, including:
-
Networking events and joint activities
-
Participation in activities at the Danish pavilions
-
Invitations to receptions and dinners
This participation format enables you to be active and visible at IFAT, with a strong focus on relationships, market insight, and partnerships.
Who can apply?
You can apply to participate in IFAT Munich 2026 together with Clean if your company:
-
Is a member of Clean
-
Is a Danish startup or scale-up (SME) with a Danish CVR number
-
Works with water and/or environmental technology
Water and environmental technology refers to solutions where environmental or climate impact is a core element of what you offer – not merely a secondary benefit. This includes, for example, solutions within water and wastewater, climate adaptation, waste and circular economy, air and emissions, as well as nature and biodiversity.
When assessing applications, Clean also places emphasis on whether:
-
You have technological ownership or play a central role in the solution, and
-
Your solution has international relevance in an IFAT context
There is no requirement for patents or fully developed technologies, but there must be a clear technological or solution-based element with a distinct environmental or climate purpose.
Costs and funding
The cost of exhibiting at IFAT Munich 2026 through Clean is DKK 26,000.
Your company may apply for a grant of DKK 35,000 to cover working hours related to participation.
The grant will be registered as a de minimis aid amounting to DKK 40,250 for your company.
